If you live in California, you may feel like Spring is here. The sun is shining, the flowers are blooming and it’s 70 degrees outside. It’s amazing! So amazing I want to enjoy some of it.
I recently started working on some new writing projects which are consuming quite a bit of my free time. Although this is exciting, it means I have less time for other things like sleeping and bad reality TV watching. Oh wait, no it doesn’t. I’ll still sleep and watch TV.
It really means I’ve decided to take my second (or fifth?) hiatus from social media and blogging. It’s only temporary and I’ll be checking in occasionally but I need a break. I need to quiet things down and I’m not Super Woman. I’m addicted to Facebook and blogging. I can’t say no, so I must say no. Unfortunately that means I’m not going to be “liking” people’s statuses or posting political rants. I’m sure you’re disappointed. Or maybe you’re secretly happy!
I never understand people when they do these sorts of things, so I’m hardly sure I can even manage life without Facebook; however, I went on the most wonderful vacation last year to Alaska that was free from Internet, texting, and cable TV. I got a LOT done and I’m hoping the next month will be similar.
I plan to return in March, or at least update you if I end up getting lost in the daisies.
Until then, wish me luck staying away, and if you need a break…take one!
